Identity design
I created a new logo for the main newspaper and new magazine, with individual identities and colour schemes for each section and options for using photography. Used in print, online and in the app.
Newspaper layout design
I designed the the front page main newspaper layout. I chose a new font, using a combination of Meta Serif and Sans-serif. For bold sans-serif headlines with a complimentary serif for the body copy to add readability at small print sizes. I added other elements such as the issue date incorporated into the mast head, and the feature elements using a combination of image, text and bold colour to preview the sections.
The pull-out magazine LSi was given it’s own font and identity.
